Old Farm "N" Bluegrass Day
 Coming October 27th  2012. Old Farm "N" Bluegrass day is a day filled with Syrup making, Food, Tractors, Old Trucks, Vendors, Arts and Crafts, And a Great Big Special Bluegrass Jam Sessions all over the palce. If your a picker then bring your guitar, banjo, fiddle, bass, or whatever you play and join in with all the down home picking and grinning,
There will be 2 big music stages with music all day:
Plus the Jamming going on. At 02:30 PM There will be a grand parade through Historic Old Downtown Weogufka with all the Wagons, Tractors, Antique Cars, Wheelbarrows, and anything else you want to put in the parade.We welcome you to join us at the Weogufka Center for Arts, Entertainment, and Education for our 2012 season. 
There is a $1.00 dollar donation per car for admission to get on the grounds. 
 Bring your Younguns' and your folding chairs and spend the day.

Sorghum, Sorghum! What to do with the plowed land after Mule Day. So we planted Sorghum where the Mule Day Mule Owners had plowed the ground to demonstrate how plowing was done in the old days.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
The Tractor show is always a great show. To see all the old tractors and to meet the guys who spend their time restoring these old farm tractors. This is a part of Americana that is gone. There are no tractors being manufactured in the United States any more.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
The Tractor Color: Farmall products are all red in the begaining. John Deer are all green. Each tractor manufacture had a special color that identified their products.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
The Tractor Sale: Not only is the Old Farm "N" Bluegrass day a great place to show your tractor, It's also a place to discuss and sale the tractors you have restored.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
Everybody Loves a Tractor: People reviewed the tractors on show all day at the Weogufka Old Farm "N" Bluegrass day. This is a time to teach the young about the past, and a time to reflect on your memories. Everyone raised on a farm has a tractor memory to tell.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
Arts and Crafts: The Old Farm "N" Bluegrass day is a place to show your Arts and Crafts. Special trades and crafts are on display. Shown in this picture is organic Corn Meal ground on site by Mr. Wesley Hay.

Unique Tractors: Of all the different and unique tractors at the show was this Alas-Chamblers which was only produced for four years. Note the engine is located behind the driver.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
The Parade Going: At 2 PM all the tractors were lined up on the campus of Weogufka Center and made ready for the parade through downtown Weogufka. The Coosa County Sheriff department escorted the parade and stopped all the traffic. This picture is the back of the parade which had 15 tractors.

Crafts: All types of crafts are welcome at the Weogufka Center on Old Farm "N" Bluegrass day. Woodworking is a popular craft and is displayed here during the day of events.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
Camping: Campers come and spend the weekend at the Weogufka Old Farm "N" Bluegrass Day. The center has 8 sites with water and electricity. And we can park up to 50 dry camping units. We also have a dumping station on the grounds. Tent camping is also welcome. There is no charge for camping, if you wish to make a donation to the center for your stay it's welcome.
 
 
 
 
 
 
Music Under the Old Oak Tree: One of our most popular events is the music under the old oak tree. This is a stage set up under the 100 year oak tree. Shown in this picture is James and Corene Lackey getting things started during the Old Farm "N" Bluegrass Day

Life is easy: Spending the day at the Weogufka Center during any of our events is not only an entertaining thing to do but is a great way to relax and enjoy a wonderful event. There is no charge to get on the grounds. And there is plenty of food and drink. As well as shows, events, vendors, and arts and crafts. Parking is free, Events are free, and the food is good.

Trade Day and Flee Market: Old Farm "N" Bluegrass day is a welcome place for all types of trade vendors, Yard Sale Vendors, Flee Market Vendors. In short Old Farm "N" Bluegrass Day is not only a great day of entertainment but a place for you to show and sale all your items. A great place for churches to has fund raiser sales. All vendors are welcome and there is no charge to be a vendor. "We do not allow food vendors, that's how we make our funds."
 
Jamming Out Back: Bluegrass music all around the campus. Pickers and grinners setting on the old benches outside and playing good old Bluegrass Music. Bluegrass musicians are welcome to come and pick all day.
